When summer calls for a cocktail rooted in tradition, you find a way to make it something people remember (ahem… that’s Moxie Sozo’s specialty). Our partnership with Mighty Swell just earned both our client and our agency GOLD at Ad Club Colorado’s The FIFTY Awards—and we’ll sip, sip, sip to that.
Mighty Swell came to us with a desire to hop into the summer cocktail category through their own representation of the mint julep. When people think of a mint julep, your brain transports you immediately to the Kentucky Derby and other iconic events such as the Masters. We used this to frame our designs and play subtle nods to these events on the packaging. It’s the taste of summer and a must-have drink for the season.
Across the portfolio, we expanded the brand’s flavor-forward identity and built packaging systems that were unapologetically bold. From the everyday lineup to new category launches, the brand now leads with in-your-face visuals that match the punch and originality of what’s inside the can.
