Why the real wins happened long before we took the stage
We submitted six. We won six. But that's not the story.
Last night at Ad Club Colorado's "The Fifty" Awards, our work for Mama Bird, City of Seaside, Oregon, Mighty Swell: Mastery, Santa Fe Spirits: Desert Bloom Gin, BrightFarms, and Lemonati: Hoot Juice all took home gold.
"The Fifty" takes a different approach: no rigid categories, just the 50 best ideas born or nurtured in Colorado. Ads, films, apps, products, experiences.
But the wins didn't start on stage.
They started in strategy sessions where clients trusted us to ask hard questions. In moments where bold ideas could've been safe ones, but weren't. In collaboration that pushed everyone—us included—beyond the expected.
Awards? They're validation. They're fun. They're icing.
The real wins happen long before the gold bars get handed out. They're in the work itself, solving real challenges, seizing opportunities others miss, and building brands that actually connect.
What makes the difference? Clients who show up ready to be bold. Who trust the process even when it feels uncomfortable. Who understand that standing out requires standing for something.
That's when we all win.
